With the world in lockdown and people staying at home to prevent the spread of Coronavirus we wanted to do something to bring a bit of joy to people’s lives.
All of our customers are awesome but none more so than those medical professionals and other key workers on the frontline. They are our heroes. We have so much respect for everything they are doing and we wanted to give a little something back to them to say thanks.
So, last week on Facebook we gave away a 14-piece party pack to a different hero every day. They just shared a picture of themselves in uniform and in return, we provided a free meal for them and their families to enjoy. We worked with both our new taxi partners V Cars (Bristol) and Apple Cars (Weston), as well as our amazing store teams to deliver these meals.
In no particular order, these seven heroes were:
Louise Vowles – Assistant Practitioner in Bristol at the NHS
Louise Ann – Midwife in Bristol NHS
Jack Tucker – Tesco Supermarket Worker near Staple Hill
Vicki Milton – Senior Carer in Weston-super-Mare
Louise Emery – NHS frontliner near Knowle
Marie Pitchford – Nursing Assistant for NHS
Courtenay Martin – South Western Ambulance Service
Of course, we’d like to do so much more and we will be doing so in the future, from running our new Instagram channel to other giveaways and donations to say thank you.
We also want to give a shout-out to every single one of our employees, managers, and franchisees – you are all truly amazing and we cannot thank you enough for your service.
