Miss Millie’s, has launched a brand-new classic breading recipe as part of their disruptive rebrand, further strengthening their position as one of the notable players in the UK’s modern flavour driven fried chicken market.
In line with their rebrand, which has been crafted to broaden customer appeal, as well to engage a younger audience, they’re now shaking things up with a brand-new classic breading recipe, featuring 12 herbs and spices – one more than the leading competition!
After extensive market research, and working closely with industry leading flavour experts, Miss Millie’s has introduced the new improved breading, which highlights their ‘flavour first strategy’ – featuring bolder flavours, more crunch and a crispier bite.
These changes come alongside some significant menu improvements for Miss Millie’s, including an improved hot and spicy marinade on their ‘Wings of Fire’, hash browns and cheese sauce. With further menu developments planned, including an exciting and wider range of new house sauces launching in June.
Speaking about the improvements to the menu, new CEO Andy Purnell said:
“It’s been an exciting year for Miss Millie’s, with the launch of our new look and attitude, and we’re so excited to bring our new flavour-first approach to our customers.
We’ve spent a huge amount of time over the last 12 months perfecting our new classic breading recipe, and as our Signature Chicken is freshly hand breaded in store, this enables us to have our own unique breading flavour profile. As consumer tastes and preferences change, we want to ensure our fried chicken is packed full of flavour and appeals to the younger generation audience, as well as our core diehard Millie’s fans.
We’re confident that we’ve now taken our chicken to the next level, creating a taste experience that’s packed with bold, mouth-watering flavour and the feedback we’ve had on our blind taste-tests has been extremely positive.
In addition to this our new modern sauce flavour range means that our customers can get their own unique flavour fix”
As well as the new breading, Miss Millie’s has seen huge success with their recent LTOs (limited time offers) which have included Buffalo Ranch Wings and Tenders and their Korean BBQ Burger, which was their best-selling special in recent years.
Miss Millie’s currently have 12 locations situated mainly across Bristol and the Southwest and have exciting plans to expand around the UK in 2025 and beyond.
